Watch their tape. It was always gonna be on once Drake got back to being Drake. BTW-OL looks better also. Via @danorlovsky7 on X

What happened: New England opened 2026 under scrutiny through three games. Dan Orlovsky pointed to tape showing the offense clicking once Maye returned to form. He also credited better offensive line play.

Why it matters: New England drafted Maye third overall in 2024 out of North Carolina. His 2025 production set the baseline for Year 3 expectations with the Patriots.

By the numbers: 2025 with Patriots (17 games): 354-of-492 for 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns, 8 interceptions.

What to watch: Watch whether protection holds and Maye stacks clean performances from mid-October on.
