What happened: Dan Orlovsky defended C.J. Stroud, saying wins are not a quarterback stat. He said Stroud has done his part and has been let down.

Why it matters: The stance separates quarterback evaluation from team results. It centers the debate on Houston's supporting performance around Stroud.

What to watch: The next marker is how Houston performs from here.
