What happened: Indiana listed three players as out for tomorrow's game in New Orleans. Johnny Furphy remains sidelined following right ACL repair/surgery, while T.J. McConnell was listed with a right hamstring strain and Aaron Nesmith with a left hamstring strain.

Why it matters: The absences thin Indiana's wing and backcourt rotation to open the road trip. Nesmith and McConnell carry regular minutes, so the start of the 2026-27 campaign will lean on deeper reserves.

What to watch: Indiana opens the trip in New Orleans tomorrow. The next injury report will show whether either hamstring absence extends beyond that game.
