Packers are placing WR Jayden Reed on injured reserve due to his neck injury, per sources. Reed is out indefinitely if n Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: Schefter reported the designation Tuesday, citing sources. Reed left Week 2 against the Jets on a stretcher with the neck injury. An "11 out" message circulated the same day.

Why it matters: Green Bay extended Reed for three years and $50.25M in April. His absence removes a 2023 second-round pick from the receiver rotation.

By the numbers: Reed caught 19 passes for 207 yards and 1 touchdown in 7 games in 2025. Drafted 50th overall in 2023 out of Michigan State.

What to watch: Green Bay must formalize the IR transaction and fill the active-roster spot.
