What happened: Green Bay has failed to reach 100 team rushing yards in a single game this season, leaving the franchise as the lone NFL club yet to hit the century mark on the ground. The cold start marks the team's longest such streak to open a campaign since 1991, when the offense went its first 11 contests without a 100-yard rushing performance.

Why it matters: The ground-game stall has coincided with the absence of running back Josh Jacobs, who ranked No. 74 on the NFL Top 100 list and missed five games on the commissioner's exempt list. Green Bay has also reworked its interior offensive line after signing three veteran guards out of retirement.

By the numbers: Green Bay is averaging a league-worst 60.4 rushing yards per game this season. In 2025, Jacobs carried the ball 234 times for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns across 15 games for the Packers.

What to watch: Jacobs was removed from the commissioner's exempt list on Monday, making him eligible to practice and return to the backfield next week.
