What happened: The alternate set is part of the NFL and Nike’s Rivalries program, which began in 2025. Green Bay is among the NFC North and AFC South clubs assigned a home divisional showcase in 2026.

Why it matters: The date gives Green Bay its first test against a team from last season’s playoff field. It will also be the rivalry’s first October game at Lambeau Field since 2016.

By the numbers: Green Bay has won nine of its last 10 and 15 of its last 18 home meetings with Chicago, outscoring it 500-289 across those 18 games.

What to watch: The one-game designation leaves Oct. 11 as the uniform’s only scheduled appearance this season.
