What happened: Associated Press voters selected Paige Bueckers for weekly WNBA honors on Monday. The recognition follows a 22-point, 11-assist performance during a 108-95 victory over the Toronto Tempo on July 11.

Why it matters: The award highlights an active winning streak for Dallas that has propelled the club upward through the midsummer standings. It also builds on an individual campaign from Paige Bueckers, who was voted a starter for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game earlier in the month.

By the numbers: Earlier this season, Bueckers became the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 career points and 250 assists. She also tied a guard record in early July by logging five consecutive games with at least 20 points.

What to watch: Dallas resumes regular-season competition this week as the schedule approaches the upcoming All-Star break in Boston.
