What happened: The Carolina Panthers signaled a strong focus on leadership as the team reported for mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. The organization shared a message emphasizing the quarterback room as the 2026 offseason program enters its final phase before training camp.

Why it matters: After securing the NFC South title in 2025, the Panthers are working to establish a more vocal culture under head coach Dave Canales. The emphasis on Bryce Young’s assertiveness follows a viral spring moment where he was seen demanding higher standards from his receivers during rain-soaked drills.

What to watch: Mandatory minicamp continues through June 11 in Charlotte. The team will then break for six weeks before returning for training camp in late July.
