What happened: The alignment allows Carolina to match Horn against receivers who move inside while varying its coverage. The change follows his activation from the NFI list after a stitched foot cut.

Why it matters: Using the Panthers’ top corner inside can disrupt matchups created through formation and motion. The approach places more responsibility on the rest of the secondary along the boundary.

What to watch: Watch whether Carolina uses the alignment regularly or reserves it for specific matchups.
