What happened: Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons provided a signature quote as the NFL began teasing the 'Top 100 Players of 2026' list. The annual countdown, which is determined by a vote of active players, is expected to launch its full release later this summer.

Why it matters: Parsons remains one of the league's most impactful defensive forces despite a 2025 season that ended with a torn ACL. His presence in the teaser highlights his continued standing among peers, particularly following a high-profile trade from Dallas to Green Bay. Interestingly, Parsons reportedly cast his #1 vote for quarterback Caleb Williams, signaling high expectations for the young signal-caller.

What to watch: Fans can expect the staggered reveal of the Top 100 rankings to begin in late July, culminating in the Top 10 unveiling before the 2026 season opener.
