What happened: Patrick Schulte stopped by the Columbus Metropolitan Library to read books and play soccer with local youth. The visit was part of an access initiative that has provided more than 800 match tickets this season with support from Ticketmaster.

Why it matters: The program lowers cost barriers for first-time attendees and families. Appearances by active professionals give young participants direct contact with the sport.

What to watch: Additional youth programming is expected through the remainder of the season.
