What happened: Patrick Williams and Caleb Wilson converted consecutive dunks in Sunday's contest. The back-to-back finishes generated quick interior scoring at the rim.
Why it matters: Wilson has taken on an expanded scoring role during the early stretch of the 2026-27 regular season. Williams is working back into rotation minutes after appearing in one contest.
By the numbers: Wilson has recorded 19.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game in 2026-27 through 8 games. Williams has recorded 4.0 points per game and 2.0 assists per game in 2026-27 through 1 game.
What to watch: Both forwards will look to sustain their frontcourt production as regular-season action progresses.
