Patriots bring UMass lineman Ryan Mosesso back for tryout

It is his second New England workout since July 22.

What happened: The Marshfield native previously attended New England’s local pro day in April. He started all 12 games for UMass in 2025 and worked at both tackle spots.

Why it matters: The evaluation gives New England another option capable of competing at tackle or guard. It follows the planned additions of interior linemen Darrian Dalcourt and Joe Michalski.

By the numbers: Mosesso measured 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds at his pro day, running the 40-yard dash in 4.94 seconds and completing 23 bench-press repetitions.

What to watch: The next step is whether the tryout produces a contract before preseason roster cuts.
