What happened: New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown will return to practice. Mike Vrabel announced the open window Wednesday.

Why it matters: The move starts the clock on Brown's activation from injured reserve. It follows Vrabel saying in September he was unsure Brown could play the next game.

What to watch: New England can activate Brown to the 53-man roster within the return window. His availability for the next game will turn on practice participation.
