What happened: New England will bring back its storm-blue Nor’easter set during the 2026 regular season. The design debuted in 2025 as part of the NFL’s Nike-created alternate uniform program.

Why it matters: The choice reserves the alternate for a divisional game in the final third of the schedule. Buffalo also hosts New England in Week 4, giving the rivals two meetings before mid-December.

By the numbers: Each participating club wears its Rivalries design for one home game against a division opponent. The uniform remains in its rotation for three seasons after debuting.

What to watch: Watch for final game-day uniform details closer to the December rematch.
