What happened: Payton Tolle interviewed former Team USA teammate Jacob Misiorowski on site at the World Series, remarking, "Now look at us." The appearance follows Tolle's visit to a Wisconsin tailgate earlier during the Fall Classic.

Why it matters: The reunion pairs two former national team peers on baseball's championship stage during the 2026 postseason. Tolle's autumn run includes an immaculate inning on Sept. 13 and a 4.2-inning outing in the postseason opener on Sept. 30.

What to watch: World Series action continues Saturday night with Game 2 scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
