What happened: Freddy Peralta starts Game 6 for the Tampa Bay Rays with the series at 3-1 in their favor before first pitch. The scheduled game carries a meeting with the Milwaukee Brewers, his former team, in the World Series round.

Why it matters: A scheduled start with a World Series meeting next gives the outing added weight beyond a standard turn. The former-team link with Milwaukee adds the personal layer to the team result.

What to watch: First pitch is still to come, with Milwaukee's opponent set once play concludes.
