What happened: PFF put out the top of its 2026 NFL running back rankings, slotting Bijan Robinson first and Jahmyr Gibbs second. The third and fourth spots on the list were left blank.

Why it matters: Robinson's No. 1 slot lines up with PFF's own call earlier this week naming him the top back for 2026. Gibbs at No. 2 follows Lions coach Dan Campbell's move to make him Detroit's bell-cow ball carrier heading into the season.

By the numbers: PFF 2026 RB rankings so far: No. 1 Bijan Robinson, No. 2 Jahmyr Gibbs.

What to watch: PFF has not yet filled in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots on the list.
