What happened: Forward Cole Knuble and defenseman Oliver Bonk, who joined the NHL roster from the AHL in October, met with reporters following the road victory in Buffalo. Head coach Rick Tocchet also addressed the media after Philadelphia secured the regular-season decision.

Why it matters: Both Knuble and Bonk are skating on the NHL roster following October call-ups as Philadelphia leans on young contributors early in the regular season. Buffalo drops the home contest as roster pressure continues to mount on the Sabres front office.

What to watch: Philadelphia and Buffalo continue their regular-season schedules following Wednesday's final.
