What happened: The Philadelphia Phillies sent a Father's Day greeting to their fan base. The message went out as the club continues its weekend series at home against the New York Mets.

Why it matters: Holiday outreach is part of how clubs keep fans engaged during a packed summer slate. The Phillies sit at 41-35 on the season and entered the weekend trending up, while the Mets have struggled at 34-42.

What to watch: Attention turns back to the field as the series sits level at a game apiece, with Zack Wheeler among the arms Philadelphia leans on down the stretch of the weekend set.
