What happened: The unit generated at least six would-be sacks during Thursday's team periods. The session took place in Miami Gardens two days before the clubs meet in an exhibition game.

Why it matters: The takeaway adds a timely evaluation point in an unsettled cornerback rotation. Coaches now have another competitive rep to weigh before final roster decisions.

By the numbers: Four interceptions have been documented on Aug. 1, 4, 10 and 20, with two taken back for potential touchdowns.

What to watch: Watch the cornerback rotation Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.
