What happened: Golden State opened the third week of preseason without Porzingis back at the facility. Front office staff and Rick Celebrini are in consistent contact with him while his timeline to return to the facility and court stays indefinite.

Why it matters: Golden State must finalize frontcourt plans without a clear return date. Nine days to the opener leaves minimal ramp-up time before games count.

What to watch: Watch for any facility return date as the opener approaches.
