"Kudos to Drake Maye for doing what he did!" @PriscoCBS applauds Drake Maye's resilience over the last two weeks. 🔥 #N Via @NFLonCBS on X

What happened: Drake Maye earned AFC weekly honors for his showing against Buffalo. Pete Prisco credited the response over the past two weeks after early criticism that Maye was forcing throws chasing touchdowns.

Why it matters: Maye set a high baseline in 2025 with 4,394 passing yards, 31 touchdowns and 8 interceptions over 17 games. Sustained efficiency would stabilize his evaluation after early-season comparisons to Josh Allen's uneven start.

By the numbers: 2025 (17 games): 354-of-492 for 4,394 yards, 31 TDs, 8 INTs. Drafted 3rd overall in 2024 out of North Carolina.

What to watch: Watch whether Maye strings together a third straight steady outing.
