What happened: @NFL flagged a Puka Nacua first down catch during the ESPN Monday night window. Reaction around the game noted soft coverage giving him free completions, echoing the debate over how indispensable he is when sidelined.

Why it matters: Per ESPN, he posted 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games in 2025. That combination of volume and scoring is why his first downs feel automatic rather than contested.
