Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated Aug 231 min read

What happened: The replica disappeared in transit to Lethbridge, Alberta, before Dara Greig's scheduled trophy day. The PWHL is working with the shipping company to locate it.

Why it matters: Greig postponed a public event after the shipping container arrived without the trophy. The loss has interrupted the Montreal Victoire's post-championship tour.

By the numbers: Aug. 20: Greig's Lethbridge event was postponed. Aug. 21: The PWHL confirmed the replica was missing. Aug. 22: The Cup at Roque's camp was ruled out.

What to watch: The shipping trace and any further PWHL update will determine whether the trophy tour can resume.
