What happened: Quin Snyder recounted his pre-draft evaluation of Zuby Ejiofor, recalling how front office executive Onsi Saleh shared late-night tape of the center. Snyder noted that Ejiofor's physical style and competitive motor immediately stood out on the film.

Why it matters: The remarks reflect the organization's initial scouting profile, following draft-night praise where Saleh hailed Ejiofor as one of the draft's top competitors. Establishing reliable interior physicality remains central to Ejiofor's development as he competes for steady frontcourt rotation minutes.

What to watch: Watch for Snyder to continue leveraging Ejiofor's interior physical presence as frontcourt matchups dictate.
