What happened: Quinn Hughes is on site at the arena in Vancouver prior to Monday night's 2026-27 regular-season matchup. The visit marks his first road appearance in the city since departing the franchise via trade in September.

Why it matters: Ahead of the game, Hughes reaffirmed his commitment to Minnesota before puck drop following a tenure in Vancouver where he was drafted, named captain, and won the Norris Trophy. Monday's contest brings the centerpiece of that offseason deal back onto Vancouver ice as a visiting player for the first time.

What to watch: Puck drop in Vancouver follows pregame warmups as the 2026-27 NHL regular season continues.
