What happened: Slone moves up from the practice unit for regular-season game action after being released ahead of the final August roster cutdown. He entered the NFL out of NC State as a rookie in September 2026.

Why it matters: Game-day elevations provide extra edge depth and special teams coverage without occupying a permanent 53-man roster spot.

What to watch: Slone automatically reverts to the practice squad after the game unless signed to the active 53-man roster.
