LA Rams Roster Moves: • Activated, from Practice Squad (Standard Elevation) CB Cam Lampkin, OLB Darryl Peterson III http Via @RamsNFL on X

What happened: Los Angeles activated cornerback Cam Lampkin and outside linebacker Darryl Peterson III from the practice squad under the standard elevation rule Saturday. The move makes both available for the Rams' Week 4 roster as the club adjusts its depth ahead of kickoff.

Why it matters: The elevations extend a busy roster day for the Rams, who already promoted Alex Bachman and Larrell Murchison and placed Terrance Ferguson on injured reserve. Standard elevations are temporary game-week decisions, so they offer a direct read on which spots Los Angeles wanted reinforced this weekend.

By the numbers: Lampkin is in his first NFL season after coming out of Washington State, according to player context dated Sept. 29. Counting Saturday's transactions already surfaced, the Rams have used at least four practice-squad elevations on Oct. 3: Lampkin, Peterson III, Bachman and Murchison.

What to watch: The next roster checkpoint is the Rams' inactive list, which will show whether both elevations turn into game-day snaps. Any additional weekend transaction would point to another late depth adjustment.
