RT @Rangers: The perfect weekend for a Burger bomb! #AllForTX https://t.co/yxnGsj0SPM

What happened: The Texas Rangers' official account posted a promotional '#AllForTX' message teasing a 'Burger bomb,' a nod to slugger Jake Burger, and the post was amplified by MLB on FOX. It is a fan-engagement message rather than a news development, in line with the club's recent run of '#AllForTX' branded posts.

Why it matters: The timing matters for a Texas club sitting at 36-39 and scrapping in a crowded American League race, where home-run power from the middle of the order is a swing factor in close games. The post extends the same '#AllForTX' fan-engagement push the team has leaned on through June.

By the numbers: Texas enters the weekend 36-39 on the season, averaging 4.0 runs scored against 4.1 allowed, riding a one-game win streak (last five: WLLLW). The Rangers' biggest result this year was a 10-0 win over Cleveland on June 7, and they took the most recent head-to-head meeting 9-7.

What to watch: Watch whether Burger's bat backs the hype as the Rangers continue their current homestand and try to climb back to .500.
