What happened: The Colorado Rapids executed a triple substitution in the 83rd minute of their match against the San Jose Earthquakes with the score tied 1-1. Ibrahim Sadiq, Darren Yapi, and Hamzat Ojediran entered the pitch to replace Josh Atencio, Sayed Abu Farkhi, and Georgi Minoungou.

Why it matters: The late changes were an attempt to break the deadlock, but the clubs ultimately split the points.

What to watch: Colorado will adjust its lineup rotation ahead of the next regular-season fixture.
