What happened: Pinter injured his knee during an Aug. 19 joint practice after starting Baltimore's preseason opener. He joined Baltimore on a one-year deal this offseason.

Why it matters: Pinter had emerged as the leading candidate for Baltimore's open center job, making the loss a direct hit to the offensive line's continuity. The Ravens must settle the position before their Sept. 13 opener.

What to watch: Baltimore's remaining center reps and any waiver-wire addition will show how the depth chart resets.
