What happened: Baltimore placed centers Jovaughn Gwyn (fibula) and Ethan Pocic (knee) on injured reserve. Chicago put tackle Braxton Jones on IR, Carolina did the same with receiver Xavier Legette, and Detroit elevated defensive back Jalen Mills.

Why it matters: The Ravens' move deepens an offensive-line problem after Danny Pinter was ruled out for the season, leaving three Baltimore centers on injured reserve. Chicago loses a key tackle, Carolina shelves a recent first-round wideout, and Detroit adds secondary depth after another Mills elevation.

By the numbers: Legette caught 35 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games in 2025. Mills made 10 tackles in seven games in 2025 and was also elevated Sept. 26.

What to watch: Baltimore's next move at center is the immediate roster question after the latest IR placements. Chicago and Carolina now have open spots to fill, while Detroit will decide whether Mills remains in the game-day mix.
