#Ravens TE Durham Smythe suffered a torn Achilles on Sunday and he’s out for the season, the MRI confirmed. Unfortunatel Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: The MRI confirmed a torn Achilles suffered Sunday, ending his season. Baltimore ruled out Durham Smythe during the game after he limped to the sideline tent.

Why it matters: The loss thins Baltimore's tight end depth as game-day injuries pile up early in the 2026 regular season. Smythe filled a veteran reserve and blocking role behind the starters.

By the numbers: He caught 4 passes for 25 yards in 17 games with Chicago in 2025.

What to watch: Baltimore faces Atlanta on Sunday with its tight end rotation now short. Watch whether the Ravens add a tight end to the active roster this week.
