What happened: Tampa Bay Rays alum Evan returned to the Reading with the Rays program, reading with kids as part of the effort he helped launch. The visit comes ahead of Longo's Legacy Weekend, presented by Suncoast Credit Union.

Why it matters: The appearance ties Evan's early role in building the literacy program to its continued run years later, framing the upcoming Legacy Weekend as a callback to that groundwork.

What to watch: Details on Longo's Legacy Weekend activities are expected as the date approaches.
