What happened: Rees said Penix reached a point where Atlanta's timing felt settled and the rhythm was noticeable.

Why it matters: The comment fits Penix's remarks a day earlier about resetting after last week's interception, extending Atlanta's recent run of positive public evaluations around the quarterback. That matters because even a small sign of steadier timing can shape how the offense is viewed heading into the next practice cycle.

What to watch: Watch for the Falcons' next practice report and any clearer read on Penix's reps or role.
