"This is the next step of who Atlanta is, and who Atlanta will continue to be in the next couple of years" 😌 Angel Rees Via @WNBA on X

What happened: Angel Reese spoke ahead of the next game of the WNBA Finals. The series between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream is tied 1-1. That game has not started yet.

Why it matters: The 1-1 series leaves the Finals without a leader entering the next scheduled game. Atlanta is playing postseason basketball in the 2026 season. Golden State is even in the series entering that matchup.

What to watch: The next scheduled game will decide the third result of a tied series.
