Angel Reese is on FIRE to start Game 2! 🔥 📺 WNBA Finals on Peacock https://t.co/oTuTT8Jn7B Via @NBCSports on X

What happened: Angel Reese scored 15 points on 6-for-9 shooting in the first half of Game 2 of the 2026 WNBA Finals. She added 7 rebounds and accounted for half of Atlanta's 30 points at that stage.

Why it matters: Early offense from Reese steadies Atlanta's half-court rotations in a Finals setting. She followed an 11-point first quarter in Game 1 with another fast start.

By the numbers: 15 PTS, 7 REB, 6-9 FG in first half; 15 of Atlanta's 30 points.

What to watch: Second-half foul management and sustained rim pressure decide how Game 2 finishes.
