Did #Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer do the right thing by benching Cole Carrigg? @spillygoat19 and I break it down in Via @TroyRenck on X

What happened: Carrigg will sit after he directed a middle finger toward fans in Atlanta. Schaeffer’s decision is the focus of a discussion with Ryan Spilborghs.

Why it matters: The discipline removes Carrigg from Colorado’s lineup in the immediate term. It also puts the manager’s handling of the incident under scrutiny.

What to watch: Watch for Schaeffer to set Carrigg’s return to the lineup.
