What happened: Aaron Rodgers holds the lowest interception rate in the NFL since 2000 at 1.4% among quarterbacks with at least 2,500 pass attempts. Jacoby Brissett ranks second on the historical leaderboard with a 1.5% mark across the same qualifying threshold. Patrick Mahomes sits fourth at 1.8% to round out the top tier of qualifying passers.

Why it matters: Careful decision-making under center continues to define turnover differentials across the regular season. In 2026 through eight games, Rodgers has thrown 13 touchdowns against six interceptions on 288 pass attempts. Brissett has posted 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions across 305 attempts in 2026 through eight games.

By the numbers: • Aaron Rodgers: 1.4% career INT rate (13 TD, 6 INT in 2026 through 8 games) • Jacoby Brissett: 1.5% career INT rate (10 TD, 7 INT in 2026 through 8 games) • Patrick Mahomes: 1.8% career INT rate

What to watch: Both passers enter the second half of the 2026 regular season managing turnover margins in high-leverage situations.
