Can Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers recreate their magic for the @steelers? 🪄 https://t.co/m6fpClWy8b Via @gmfb on X

What happened: Rodgers has not appeared in either of Pittsburgh's first two preseason games. McCarthy held him out as the Steelers split those games 1-1.

Why it matters: Their partnership gives Pittsburgh one season to translate 13 years of shared experience into a new offense. The regular season will determine whether that familiarity still produces results.

By the numbers: Pittsburgh beat Green Bay 28-9 before losing 17-0 to the Jets. Rodgers took no snaps in either game.

What to watch: Watch whether Rodgers joins McCarthy for the preseason finale before roster cuts Sunday.
