What happened: Josina Anderson said Aaron Rodgers and TJ Watt deserve respect for decorated careers but do not get a free pass to disrespect others at work. The criticism arrived amid scrutiny around Rodgers after a heated sideline exchange with Mike McCarthy earlier Thursday.

Why it matters: The comment keeps Pittsburgh's leadership tone in focus as the 2026 regular season moves on. It also extends the attention on Rodgers' reunion with Mike McCarthy, turning a game-day flare-up into a broader question about accountability.

By the numbers: Anderson cited Watt's eight Pro Bowls and his 2021 Defensive Player of the Year award while describing Rodgers as a future Hall of Famer.

What to watch: Watch for public responses from Rodgers, Watt or McCarthy after the Browns loss. Pittsburgh's handling of the fallout will determine whether the issue carries into next week's buildup.
