What happened: Fabrizio Romano's Portuguese-language post teased an urgent Brazil story before pointing readers to NetflixBrasil's Brasil 70: A Saga do Tri. The Netflix series, released May 29, dramatizes the Brazilian national team's run to the 1970 World Cup title.

Why it matters: This is not a current transfer or team-news break; it is a promotional post tied to a historical soccer drama. The framing drew attention because Romano's usual transfer language made the post look like live football news before revealing the Netflix tie-in.

By the numbers: Netflix says Brasil 70: A Saga do Tri is a 2026 drama about the 1970 World Cup campaign and Brazil's pursuit of a third world title. The official listing describes Season 1 as a series based on real events.

What to watch: Watch whether NetflixBrasil keeps using football-news accounts and transfer-style language to push the series after release. Any follow-up should be treated as entertainment context unless it contains new, current football news.
