What happened: Roquan Smith drew external scrutiny after a controversial collision involving Josh Allen prompted calls for NFL disciplinary action. Commentators urged the league to issue a suspension following the play.

Why it matters: Potential league discipline could carry significant roster and financial consequences. Any suspension would sideline a key defensive starter as the regular season enters its second half.

What to watch: The NFL typically reviews weekend plays for potential fines or disciplinary rulings early in the week.
