What happened: Buffalo beat Toronto on Oct. 15 in the early 2026-27 regular season. Ruff singled out Quinn afterward, calling it the best game he has seen from the winger.

Why it matters: Early-season form from young wingers shapes Buffalo's forward rotation. Public praise from the head coach points to a larger role for Quinn going forward.

What to watch: Buffalo continues its regular-season slate this weekend. Quinn's next game will show whether the Toronto outing carries over.
