What happened: The running back said the joy and fight shown by people facing cancer has been inspiring in his community work. The conversation centered on that outreach as the week builds toward Sunday's awareness game.

Why it matters: The interview adds a player voice to a week already built around support for the fight against cancer. It also pushes the community side of the weekend into focus before attention shifts fully to game day.

What to watch: Sunday's Crucial Catch game is the next marker as the awareness-week rollout continues.
