“Pittsburgh is a very good team, and we’ll have a good challenge on our hands.” Head Coach Ryan Craig, Braeden Bowman, Via @GoldenKnights on X

What happened: Head coach Ryan Craig and forwards Braeden Bowman and Marc Gatcomb addressed reporters ahead of Saturday's regular-season matchup against Pittsburgh. Craig called Pittsburgh a very good team and noted the roster faces a stiff test.

Why it matters: Craig, who was promoted to head coach in June and kept the club's system intact through camp, is leaning on offseason depth additions early in the 2026-27 campaign. Bowman and Gatcomb both earned regular-season roles after signing in September and July, respectively.

By the numbers: Bowman netted his second goal of the 2026-27 season on a power-play snapshot on Oct. 16 after signing with Vegas on Sept. 10.

What to watch: Vegas hosts Pittsburgh on Saturday night as the Golden Knights continue their October regular-season schedule.
