What happened: Ryan Gauld noted it was good to come away with three points following a 2-1 victory at Austin FC. The result capped what Gauld described as a tough week spanning three matches.

Why it matters: The road win delivers a needed result after Gauld recently called for extra effort to reset the club's form. Closing out a congested stretch with a victory stabilizes the squad.

What to watch: Attention turns to recovery and preparation following the three-game week.
