What happened: The New Orleans Saints selected high school flag football player Aylinne as their nominee for the Latino Youth Honors program. The team announced the choice on Thursday.

Why it matters: The initiative recognizes student-athletes across the league for their athletic performance and community engagement. The recognition also highlights the continued expansion of girls' flag football.
