What happened: Scheelhaase enters 2026 in his first season as offensive coordinator after serving as pass game coordinator in 2025. Davante Adams remains in place after offseason trade discussions ended without a move.

Why it matters: The continuity keeps an accomplished red-zone target in the same system as Scheelhaase assumes broader game-planning duties.

By the numbers: Adams caught 60 passes for 789 yards and an NFL-high 14 touchdowns in 14 regular-season games in 2025. He added 11 catches for 185 yards and one touchdown in the playoffs.

What to watch: Training camp will offer the first look at how Scheelhaase deploys Adams in his expanded role.
